If you know me well enough, you will know that I would rather do anything than sell my soul, posting about products that I don’t even like. This post contains affiliate links which I am so excited to recommend to you (and make just a little money from) and would hope that if you have the opportunity to recommend products you love, you would do the same.
I’ve always been an organized person, but it came to my attention this past year, that the back end of my business needed a lot of help in order for me to be able to grow my business and add some team members. I used to think…’How can I possibly delegate work but I don’t know how cause I don’t have a system in place that makes it any easier than just doing it myself!’ Sound familiar?! I’m here to tell you that this is possible and easier than you might think. Here are the top 3 tools I’m using in my business to stay organized.
#1 - Asana
My business has been completely revolutionized by Asana. Asana is a free project management tool (with option to upgrade) that allows you to keep track of all of your tasks in your business as well as add team members in to collaborate if you need to. It has allowed all of the information that I often kept on a running ‘To Do’ List and circling around in my brain all dumped out onto an amazing organized list that is easily updated, checked off and organized by date. It also allows a lot of email communication to be eliminated between team members which is a huge win for me, allowing my business to stay organized.
#2 - Canva
Hello Canva! Where have been all my life?! This graphic design platform (for dummies), is used to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, documents and other visual content. The platform is free to use and offers paid subscriptions for additional features. I use Canva every single day to help my business stay organized. I create social media content for all my clients and my kids even use this program for school projects. Try out the Pro version for free for 30 days here.
#3 - Calendly
You know how it goes. You email someone to schedule a meeting and they reply back with ‘What works for you?’ and you reply back how about Tuesday at this time and they reply back ‘Oh, I’m busy at that time. What about Thursday morning?’ and back and forth it goes. Calendly eliminates the the hassle of back-and-forth emails so you can get back to work. It is a hub for scheduling appointments and meetings professionally and efficiently. You can imbed it into your website or just send a link in an email for someone to click and pick a time so that you can keep your business organized.
