50 Things That Bring Me JOY

LAST EDITED: MARCH 14, 2022 | BY: KIMBERLY EVANS

If you know me well enough, you will know that I would rather do anything than sell my soul, posting about products that I don’t even like. This post contains affiliate links which I am so excited to recommend to you (and make just a little money from) and would hope that if you have the opportunity to recommend products you love, you would do the same.

With all things new, as Spring approaches, there has been a lot of LEARNING for me in the past few months. I'm working on listening to my body, asking myself what type of person I want to be and how I want to show up in the world and letting that be the guide for the decisions that I make. This is HARD work, people! Life-changing, HARD WORK!

One thing I want to talk more about is how stress and over functioning steels our JOY.

For years, I've over functioned. I take on other people's stress as my own and try to be helpful, making sure everyone is okay. The problem I've run into is that I lost my ability to make sure that I was ok!

It's A LOT!

I'm learning that sometimes others will just be disappointed when I put my own needs first and I have to just be okay taking care of myself so that I have enough to give to others. Who knew?!  The life lessons just keep coming over here, don't they?!

My current self-care go to are flights, as I work hard to lean into wealthy woman status, and live into my purpose and dreams with confidence, but seriously,  I can't go on vacation every time I have a bad week. Right?!

I've been working on a list of 50 things that bring me JOY (that don't involve my regular hair color appointment with my stylist because, listen...that is a non-negotiable right now, right?!) I've found the brainstorming of this list super helpful and wanted to share it with you so that you can be inspired to create a list of your own.
